Nectarines, Peaches, Apricots

If you’re not in hurry, venture into the market grounds and browse through the other stalls, which are also debuting nectarines, peaches and apricots. Bing and Rainier cherries have also been popular these past few weeks at the market.

Bing cherries that are dark and particularly sweet: $4
Rainier cherries that are lighter in color: $5
Persian cucumbers $3 a pound
“Jewels of Joy” grape tomatoes $3 a basket
Vine-ripe classic tomatoes $3.50 a pound
Stone fruits $2.50 a pound
