TIME: 6:00 – 8:00 pm
The workshop on Thursday will focus on imagery exercises to improve the movement and function of the feet.The feet provide us a strong foundation and springy, shock absorption for standing, walking, running, jumping, and dancing. In every step, healthy feet absorb the force from gravity instead of it traveling up to the ankles, knees, hips, and spine. In this workshop you will experience your feet as never before and learn imagery, self-touch, and movement exercises for healthy feet for life.
It is your brain that controls how you move. The Franklin Method uses imagery, self-touch, ball rolling, and theraband exercises to experience how the body moves naturally. You’ll experience physical insights, increased flexibility, better coordination, and increased strength. The classes combine scientific knowledge of body bio-mechanics with ideas/images to think about while moving.
