Bone Marrow Drive on Larchmont

Healthy individuals between the ages of 18 and 60 are encouraged to come out and join the BE THE MATCH registry on Larchmont this Tuesday, August 30th, 2:00-10:00 pm at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

Being a stem-cell donor is an incredible opportunity for an ordinary individual to save a life. Anie Gevorgian has been fighting lymphoma and now needs a bone marrow transplant. You may be her match or a match for one of the many other patients in need.

It takes only minutes to sign up – fill out a short form (strictly confidential) and the inside of your cheek will be swabbed to obtain some tissue. City of Hope and volunteers will be there 2-6pm, and Anie’s husband Tadeh will be there 6-10pm.
