Dog adoption on the west side of Larchmont Boulevard. Every Sunday, 10 am – 3 pm.

Many of the dogs have been grossly abused by their original owners!

Often, kitty cats are also there waiting for you to take them home.

About the Mutt Movement:  It is an all-volunteer, non-profit local dog rescue organization committed to finding permanent and happy homes for unwanted and homeless pets in the community. The organization does not operate a shelter, but relies on volunteers who provide foster care for animals while they await placement.

* Eric Dane (Dr. Mark Sloan or “McSteamy” on Gray’s Anatomy) adopted a Chihuahua from the Mutt Movement on Larchmont in 2008. He and his wife Rebecca Gayheart named the dog Nellie, because at first she was skittish and a nervous Nellie. But now that the dog is frisky, it’s “Whoa, Nellie!”
