Autism Help Group at The Coffee Bean

Wondering what all those bird-shaped paper cutouts are throughout the store in Larchmont? They’re not merely decorative!

They’re part of a donation campaign that The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf does on behalf of The Help Group, a non-profit serving young people with special needs, including those with autism.

A white bird represents a $1 donation while a silver bird represents a $5 donation. You do get to write your name(s) on the paper, and every time you visit the store you see a reminder of your little good deed. Isn’t that neat?
