Where is Larchmont Village?

To real locals, Larchmont Village is strictly speaking the part of Larchmont Boulevard between 1st Street and Beverly Boulevard.

The thoroughfare Larchmont Boulevard does however stretch all the way from 3rd Street to Melrose Avenue, by Paramount Studios in Hollywood.

Ignore what Yelp and Wikipedia have designated as “Larchmont” — they’re basing their designation off the lines mistakenly drawn by the L.A. Times for the paper’s mapping project around the year 2010.

Larchmont Village has been around for more than a hundred years — residents and denizens have vivid memories of history from decades before 2010.

Widely speaking, Larchmont’s boundaries can be considered Melrose Avenue on the north, Wilton Place on the east, Beverly Boulevard on the south, and Arden Boulevard on the west.
