Hancock Park Elementary’s World Cultures Community Festival
Known for being the bedrock of the neighborhood by so many generations, Hancock Park Elementary School will be holding its much-anticipated community event celebrating its international population on October 5, 2013.
The World Cultures & Community Festival is a family-friendly celebration that is free and open to the public. The event features musical and dance performances, a children’s cultural parade, food for purchase from ethnically diverse food trucks, a LACMA-led art project, and more.

Founded in 1937, Hancock Park Elementary School provides premiere public education to grades k-5 with the fundamental goal of inspiring lifelong learners. More than two-dozen languages are spoken at Hancock Park School, creating a unique environment where both multi-generational families and recent immigrants find a home and enjoy a quality education.
