Jessica Kehinde Ngo at Chevalier’s Books

The author will be signing copies of her memoir Second Twin, First Twin (Sabellapress, 2009) on Sunday, November 15th, from 12 pm to 2 pm at Chevalier’s in Larchmont Village.

Jessica Kehinde Ngo, an English professor, is an identical twin with a Nigerian-American background. After growing up in the conservative bastion of Bakersfield, California, she moved to Malibu in 2002 to study Creative Writing at Pepperdine University. Upon graduation in 2006, she entered the Master of Professional Writing program at the University of Southern California and started deeply exploring her cultural and social background.

Her memoir Second Twin, First Twin is her first book.
