Kahbala Store in October 2009

I first visited Kahbalah when it opened on October 25, Sunday, during the Larchmont Fair, and I met Celeste who is very friendly with everyone who enters the shop.

No, Kahbala is not a religious center. They sell red-coral jewelry, custom-ordered furniture, paintings, lamps and other home decorations.

The store’s focus is primarily Latin American (try out your Spanish with Celeste!); there are also African- and Asian-inspired pieces that adorn the walls and are for sale.
