Had been scheduled to open in Larchmont Village in December 2023, in the spot where Tacos Tu Madre used to be.
HOWEVER: On January 1, 2024, Sweet Lady Jane abruptly announced they had decided to permanently close all their stores in L.A. But THEN in late February, their social media came alive and started hinting that they may be opening after all. FINALLY, it looks like SLJ will be opening on Larchmont in April under the ownership of Pacific French Bakery CEO Julie Ngu.
Sweet Lady Jane first opened their doors on Melrose in 1988.
Founded by Jane Lockhart, the dessert shops focus on cakes, pies, tarts, cookies – the craveable desserts popular throughout the Los Angeles area.
The chain currently has walk-in locations in Beverly Hills, Encino, Santa Monica, Calabasas, and West Hollywood.

Our only GF options available are the Red Velvet Cupcake and the Flourless Chocolate Walnut cookie. We also GF Triple Berry/Chocolate Triple Berry available for online Pre Order Only. We will also be planning to open mid to late November 2023, stay tuned for an official date! Also, our Manhattan Beach Location has recently closed.
