History: First opened in the art colony of Laguna Beach in 1986. Now with locations in 15+ states – Arizona,  California,  Colorado, Georgia,  Hawaii,  Maryland,  Minnesota,  Montana,  North Carolina,  Nevada,  New York,  Ohio,  Pennsylvania,  South Carolina,  Texas,  Virginia.

The name “zpizza” came from one of the founders (she was French) pronouncing “the pizza” like “zee pizza.”

Uses skim mozzarella cheese from Wisconsin, part-skim rBGH-free cheese from grass-fed cows, Montana winter wheat, certified organic tomato sauce, MSG-free pepperoni, additive-free sausage, and fresh produce.
