Established in 1926, Larchmont Hardware was one of the most longstanding of the mom-n-pops in the village.

Russ Wilson bought the store in 1982 from the family of the original owners.

LH closed in 2008 after the Mizrahis acquired the building and raised rents on the tenants.

The hardware’s iconic neon sign can now be found in the Museum of Neon Art, courtesy of the efforts of Eric Evavold.
