The Kasimoff Blüthner Piano Company imported the first new Bluthner grand piano from Leipzig to Pasadena, California, in 1963.  It’s a family business that places Blüthner pianos in homes, colleges and universities, with music lovers, professional musicians, and recording artists. Many Blüthners grand pianos have been restored in their workshop such as those owned by Jerome Kern (1922), Prince Esterhazy (1903), and King Johann of Saxony (1860).

A clarinet player and piano and harpsichord tuner, William P. Kasimoff died in 1997 at the age of 75. His wife Helga runs the store with their three sons, Sergei, Ivan and Kyril. Clients range from opera stars to rock musicians and include the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.
