Currently offering curbside pickup, delivery and shipping orders 10am-6pm daily (as well as appointments and walk-ins Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays 12pm-5pm).
History: Chevalier’s Books opened its doors on Larchmont Boulevard in January of 1940.
In the news in late May / early June 2009 for being the place where L.A/ Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa was spotted with his then-new journalist girlfriend KTLA-TV Channel 5 reporter Lu Parker.
Has a children’s section, book signings and poetry readings.
Very friendly to kids and dogs.
Accepts cash and major credit cards.
