Pearl at Larchmont Christmas Tree Lot

 

 
Pearl Leeka is a Wilshire Rotary Club volunteer on their Christmas Tree Lot on Larchmont Boulevard.  Behind her, you can see freshly cut Noble firs from Serenity, Oregon!

The Christmas Tree Lot has been sponsored by the Wilshire Rotary Club for some three years now. The proceeds from the tree sales are donated to charity.

Rotary Club volunteers manage the lot from 9 am to 9 pm every day, until December 23rd. You can usually catch Pearl between one and six in the afternoon.

Aside from Noble firs, they also have Douglas firs — both tree types in various sizes. Tabletop ones go for $25 while a Noble fir standing nine feet tall is around $175, plus the cost of a sturdy stand (around $25-30).

I’ll post more details and photos soon, but thanks to Pearl for showing me around the lot today and to the Wilshire Rotary Club for the great job they’re doing helping charity while providing the service of making Christmas trees available in Larchmont!
